This tired maple hardwood floor had years of wear, scratches, stains and old finish built up across the surface. Rather than replacing the floor, our client chose to restore the original timber, preserving its character while giving it a completely new lease of life.
Using professional dust-controlled sanding equipment, we carefully removed the old finish, repaired imperfections and sanded the floor back to clean, bare wood. The natural beauty of the maple was then revealed, showcasing its subtle grain patterns and warm colour variation.
The finished result is a bright, modern-looking floor that retains all of the charm of the original timber while providing a durable surface ready for many more years of use.
